I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been with me from the start of my author journey. It’s been a long seven years since I first published my book. Over the years and experiencing endless rejections from agents and publishers, I decided to self-publish my first book. No one prepared me for all the strenuous work involved in writing, developing, designing, and marketing your work all on your own. Nevertheless, since then, I’ve successfully published over ten books. As I’ve journeyed through the process and spoken to many authors like myself who had trouble getting their work published, I noticed a change in the publishing industry, all thanks to independent and self-publishing authors.
Because of this, I decided to launch my own publishing company. We will work tirelessly to help get authors in front of the right readers. To help get stories, in most cases, would never see the light of day into the hands of readers who are aching for something original, innovative, and imaginative. We want to work directly with authors and give them a voice in how their stories are told and marketed. As an author myself, I strive for creativity and to ensure authors are allowed to provide insight and maintain creative control over their work. Creative control is paramount as we believe readers want to read the story the author originally intended.
At Blue Courting Publishing, we’re looking to promote and publish fiction genres in Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance, Action-Adventure, Horror, Thriller, and Suspense. We’re always looking to expand our readership and help authors find the right audience for their work. Here at Blue Courting Publishing, we’re focusing on authors and stories usually ignored by mainstream publishing or those that sway apart from corporate publishing. The world needs originality—new stories, imagination, and minds that will usher new thoughts and new forms of inventiveness. It’s been a fantastic ride so far, and we hope you’ll follow us on this journey as we build our brand and authors list.
